Established as an extension of research efforts by Rick Lambert and Youan Chang at the University of California at Los Angeles, RUN Technologies has been providing quality software products to the scientific community since 1985. Our popular DATAPAC product line is a modular software system designed to support a broad range of applications in neurophysiology, general physiology, pharmacology, movement sciences, and many other fields. DATAPAC systems are currently in use in hundreds of research laboratories, universities, hospitals, and clinics worldwide.
We are now in the process of extending our product line through the development of quality hardware instrumentation as well, with an initial focus on the movement sciences fields. We are proud to announce the first results of our developmental efforts: Myopac, a unique system for recording EMG and related signals. Myopac is a high performance yet economical system that employs state-of-the-art pulse modulated digital fiber optic technology to transmit up to 27 channels of data from a light weight, subject-worn belt unit to a receiver unit up to 200 feet away.
