Updates are posted regularly and are available to all existing users of Datapac 2K2. Their purpose is to supply authorized users with recent additions and enhancements to the software and to fix known bugs. Please click here to view a list of recent enhancements and fixes.
Users of Previous Datapac
Versions:
If you purchased your Datapac system within the last 24 months,
or if you purchased an upgrade within that time, you are eligible
for a free upgrade to Datapac 2K2. However, you must contact RUN Technologies to verify your eligibility
and to receive an upgrade package. For all other users, upgrades
to Datapac 2K2 must be purchased. Upgrade prices are deeply discounted
from the regular price. Please check the Datapac
2K2 Pricing and Ordering page for more information, then contact
RUN Technologies to place your order.
Datapac 2000 Users: If you are a Datapac 2000 user and are not eligible for a free upgrade to Datapac 2K2, you can still download the last published version of Datapac 2000. Click here to download the last Datapac 2000 update.
Existing Datapac 2K2
Users:
The update is provided
in the form of a single self-extracting archive file. Download
the file to an empty folder (directory) on your hard disk, then
execute the file to extract its contents. You will be asked to
specify an "Unzip to Folder". The default is the folder
where the archive file resides. We recommend that you do not change
it. When the extraction is completed the contents of the archive
file are placed in a subfolder named "Datapac 2K2_V3_18_Update_Files".
Go to that folder and execute the setup.exe file to begin installation
of the Datapac 2K2 update. Make sure you install the upgrade into
your current Datapac 2K2 program folder (usually C:/Datapac_2K2).
No user-generated files (e.g., data files, event files, parameter
files, or exported graphics, text, or table files) will be affected
by the update.
