I was a Peak Motus user for many years. I have since replaced that system with Datapac, and I am very glad I did. Many people attribute greater value to something that costs more. But that is definitely not the case here. In my opinion, Datapac is far superior, much easier to use, less buggy, and a very small fraction of Peak's cost - even without the additional $10K for the Peak "auto-tracking" feature. Also there's the advantage that RUN Technologies respond almost immediately to many user requests for customizations and upgraded features - something that most other companies definitely do NOT do. People need to become more aware of Run Tech. Scott Curry, PhD, University of California, Riverside . |

I have been using Datapac software programs since 1997. I commonly use this product in collection of kinesiological and kinematic data for research in the University of Kentucky's Musculoskeletal Laboratory. I have found this product to not be only versatile but also easy to use. I have taught over 20 graduate students over the last decade how to use Datapac and Myopac in the collection of analog data. The addition of the video module has been seemless and has given us a new dimension to collecting and tracking data. Above and beyond the quality of the equipment the service I have recieved from the Run Technologies is by far one of the best technology service relationships I have. In over 10 years of working with this product there has not been anything that I have asked Run Technologies folks that they have not been able to help me figure out an approach to get the data that I need. I recommend this product without reservation to my colleagues in the biomechanics, physical therapy, and athletic training fields. Tim L. Uhl, PhD, ATC, PT, University of Kentucky . |

I have been using Datapac software and hardware since 2004. We have various devices interfaced with Datapac including the Myopac EMG,2D video analysis devices, velocity transducers, multidimentional and unidimentional force platforms, and an electrical stim unit. In my opinion you cannot beat the capability and versatility of Datapac, and with Datapac 5, they have truly raised the bar. They have always been willing to work with me to customize the program to my needs and never fail to offer timely and comprehensive customer service. I recommend it to all my colleagues and each one of them raves about the program, and wonders why they havent tried it sooner. Brian Schilling, PhD, University of Memphis . |

I have been an enthusiastic, continuous user of RUN Tech's acquisition and analyses products for more than 20 years. I have tried other products, such as those by PEAK Performance, RC Electronics, and Axon Instruments, but I couldn't wait to retire them when Run Technologies unveiled its first video and analog synchronized acquisition and analysis system. Run Technologies products are intuitive, flexible, easy to adapt to new projects, and students really learn to understand the dimensions of their data as they master implementing Datapac modules. No other computer product in our lab has had the staying power of Run Technologies products. Backward compatibility and obsolescence of Datapac archives has never been a issue. I have never had to worry about what generation of hardware or software was used in old experiments when I wanted to revisit old data for new analyses or larger longitudinal studies. No one provides better product and service than Run Technologies. Nina Bradley, PhD, PT, University of Southern California . |

I've been using Datapac software to analyze EMG and kinematic data for the last few years. Given this excellent program's features and ease of use, I'm surprised how inexpensive it is compared to less versatile motion analysis systems I've previously used such as Peak Motus. I'm also impressed with the personal attention I've been given by the people at RunTech any time I call them. Ramsey Samara, PhD, University of California, San Diego . |

We have used Datapac in our lab and clinic for more than 15 years (since the Dos days), and Myopac for about ten. We use them extensively for patient evaluations (stroke, head injury, spinal cord injury) virtually every day. The versatility and reliability of both products are outstanding, and so is Run Technologies' technical service. Whenever I have a problem, Run Technology staff are always there to help me work them out--by phone or through remote access to our computer. Our work has been made much easier because of our association with Run Technologies. I highly recommend their products to all my colleagues. Nathaniel H. Mayer, MD, Director, Motor Control Analysis Laboratory, MossRehab and Albert Einstein Healthcare Network, Philadelphia & Elkins Park, PA . |
